Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, mathematics, science, or a related technical field
- 4 years of progressively responsible experience in systems engineering or related space disciplines
- Proficiency in systems engineering, enterprise systems engineering, model-based systems engineering, and/or digital engineering
- Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent interpersonal communication and writing skills
- Availability for occasional domestic travel, approximately 5-10%
- For Engineering Specialist position: 8 years of increasingly responsible experience in systems engineering or space-related engineering
- Proficient in MBSE modeling languages such as SysML and tools like Cameo Systems Modeler, SparX Enterprise Architecture, and Rhapsody
- Experience with architecture frameworks like DoDAF or UAF
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering and analytical assistance to defense, intelligence community, and civil government clients in portfolio management and enterprise systems engineering
- Collaborate directly with Aerospace program office staff and government clients
- Assist in the implementation of existing tools, models, and frameworks
- Identify and propose enhancements and new capabilities to better support customer programs
- Participate in studies aimed at resolving complex issues and delivering innovative technical solutions
- Proactively alert management to potential technical challenges and suggest solutions
- Utilize Aerospace resources to effectively leverage MBSE methodologies, modeling languages, and tools
- Lead and assist in technical studies to offer client recommendations
- Tailor Aerospaces technical resources to provide innovative support for client-specific applications
- Offer continual technical advice and consultation to management, clients, and contractors
- Mentor early career professionals as needed
- Travel occasionally as required
