Requirements

Must:
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, science, or another related STEM discipline - Minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible professional engineering or scientific experience, including systems engineering and NASA program lifecycle involvement - Proven success in coordinating cross-functional engineering teams and integrating multidisciplinary systems for large-scale projects - Familiarity with NASAs program management framework and key milestone review processes - Proficient in Jira, CMW, SharePoint, and Wiki platforms for technical documentation and team collaboration - Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts and deliver effective presentations to stakeholders - Experience thriving in dynamic, small teams that influence decision-making across large technical groups - Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to collaborate across diverse teams - Self-driven with a history of building strong partnerships with customers and stakeholders to meet mission objectives - Knowledge of space flight certification frameworks necessary for validating performance specifications and safety standards - Willingness to travel occasionally (approximately 5%) to another work location or customer site - Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

- Assist the LTV Project SEI office at NASA Johnson Space Center focused on the Lunar Terrain Vehicle in the Artemis program - Support the Verification and Validation Lead with various tasks - Participate in project meetings and reviews to keep the SE&I team updated on developments - Review, comment on, and maintain program level requirements - Develop and oversee project system requirements - Lead verification for NASA cross-project interfaces - Evaluate Contractor verification, validation, and certification plans - Collaborate with subject matter experts during the review of Contractor plans - Review verification closure notices and associated contractor data - Coordinate with subject matter experts for review of closure notices within the contract timeline - Create necessary project SE&I documentation - Conduct reviews of external documents related to system specifications and ensure alignment with project needs - Support project lifecycle reviews by generating slide content and presenting when necessary
