Requirements
Must:
- Associates degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience managing data repositories.
- Proven expertise in Windows file systems and server administration.
- Ability to make critical decisions promptly and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to troubleshoot complex technical challenges quickly; proficiency in Excel and other related tools is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to thrive in team settings, demonstrating reliability.
- Highly detail-oriented, prioritizing accuracy and maintaining exceptional record-keeping practices.
- Outstanding organizational, time management, and project management skills, able to juggle numerous tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and clear procedural guidance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, with U.S. citizenship required for eligibility.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the SPA-owned DISCOE database, ensuring configuration control, updating raw data, and communicating changes to users.
- Implement and maintain secure user access, conduct regular configuration audits, and enforce adherence to all policies and protocols.
- Collect and consolidate program/mission data (technical, cost, schedule, etc.), manage repository access, and safeguard sensitive information to support programmatic and technical evaluations.
- Collaborate efficiently in a dynamic environment, respond swiftly to changing requirements and timelines, and handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Adapt to evolving protocols and new technologies to continually improve the repository management process.
- Uphold established guidelines and best practices for data security, configuration control, and data retention while promoting accountability within the team.
