Requirements
Must:
- Masters degree from an accredited institution in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, mathematics, or a related field (either pursuing or awarded within the last 12 months)
- 0-1 years of relevant industry experience
- Academic or internship experience in space-related modeling, communication and ground architectures, data network modeling, scheduling algorithms, or mission management
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, C++, or MATLAB
- Capability to obtain and uphold a TS/SCI security clearance
- Transcripts must be submitted for this position
Responsibilities
- Acquire knowledge and experience in specific national security space or intelligence mission areas, including communication and ground infrastructures, signals intelligence, geo-spatial intelligence, space surveillance, navigation systems, and/or space protection
- Generate analysis that informs research, development, and acquisition decisions related to customer communication and ground architectures
- Conduct end-to-end (E2E) performance evaluations and analysis-of-alternatives (AoA) employing proprietary or internally developed analysis tools
- Collaborate with senior personnel, management, and team members to translate customer requirements into project goals and provide technical assessments
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the organizations analysis and simulation capabilities
- Create and deliver timely and technically precise presentations and reports that effectively convey analysis findings to technical leads, management, and customers
