Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related technical field, either pursuing or conferred within the last 12 months.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- 0-1 year of experience in the industry.
- Academic knowledge of communication systems and digital signal processing concepts (such as modulation, coding, synchronization, estimation, detection theory, waveform design, channel effects, and link performance).
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and/or C/C++ programming languages.
- Openness to occasional domestic travel to meet customer needs.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship.
- Transcripts must be provided.
Responsibilities
- Address technical challenges, under supervision, related to:
- Physical layer modeling and simulation.
- Designing and analyzing communication waveforms.
- Conducting communication link budget assessments.
- Developing and assessing program requirements, interfaces, and verification processes.
- Creating digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms.
- Prototyping and testing hardware within the lab and field settings.
- Convert abstract ideas into clear and structured technical plans.
- Clearly articulate technical findings in written reports and presentations.
