Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related technical field - Minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in engineering or scientific roles - Familiarity with various communication systems and digital signal processing principles (e.g., modulation, coding, synchronization, estimation, detection theory) - Proficiency in at least one programming language: MATLAB, Python, or C/C++ - Eligibility to obtain an active TS/SCI security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required - Willingness to travel domestically 10-20% based on customer requirements - For Senior Member of Technical Staff: Five or more years of relevant experience and a proven track record in a senior technical authority role

Responsibilities

- Tackle complex technical challenges involving physical layer modeling and simulation - Design and assess communication waveforms and their performance - Analyze position, navigation, and timing signal designs - Conduct communication link budget evaluations - Review and evaluate both current programs and future initiatives in satellite communications, signal intelligence (SIGINT), and electronic warfare (EW) - Develop and assess program requirements and verification protocols - Create digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms - Test and prototype hardware in laboratory settings as well as in the field - Convert abstract concepts into detailed and structured technical plans - Present clear and concise technical findings in reports and presentations
