Cloud Engineer - Platform & Infrastructure

- Bachelors degree in a STEM field, focusing on Computer Science or a related science/engineering discipline. - Over 6 years of pertinent experience in designing, developing, and managing enterprise-grade systems in both traditional IT and cloud settings. - Proven track record in deploying, managing, and overseeing Linux or Microsoft Windows environments across various teams, while implementing virtualization and containerization technologies in shared data center environments. - Knowledge in automating on-premises infrastructure deployments using configuration management and scripting tools, including the ability to troubleshoot and resolve automation-related challenges for enterprise data centers. - Demonstrated skills in backup, recovery, and continuity planning in a business context. - Experience managing storage systems such as SAN, NAS, and FCoE (e.g., NetApp, Dell EMC, HP Enterprise). - Competency in TCP/IP, routing, switching, and secure protocols, with practical experience in designing and troubleshooting network infrastructures in both conventional IT and cloud environments. - Proven capability to collaborate and communicate effectively within a cross-functional matrix organization. - Willingness to travel domestically up to 25%. - This role necessitates the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is provided by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required for eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
