Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a STEM field
- At least 12 years of experience in communication and/or telemetry & command (T&C) systems engineering, particularly supporting SSC and/or NRO programs
- In-depth technical knowledge in the design, construction, integration, and/or testing of communication and navigation payloads
- Proven ability to guide teams in a dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities while ensuring customer alignment
- Strong commitment to a customer-oriented approach, addressing challenges with creativity and collaboration, and communicating effectively across various audiences
- Willingness to travel domestically approximately 10 - 15%
- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance
Responsibilities
- Assist the Department Director with various daily operations including performance management, corporate reporting, and resource allocation
- Co-lead a team of over 20 engineers providing systems engineering support for communication and navigation payloads, technology development, and mission assurance across DoD and IC space enterprises
- Implement impactful strategies that surpass customer expectations, promote innovation, and deliver transformative solutions
- Shape the future of the department by developing top engineering talent and enhancing technical capabilities to stay at the forefront of advancements
- Identify and capture new business opportunities that position our organization as an industry leader
- Establish and lead high-impact cross-functional teams, aligning expertise with project requirements and fostering cooperative solutions
- Ensure quality assurance for the outputs of the department staff
