Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 6 years of full-time professional experience, with potential reduction for advanced education
- At least 4 years of direct experience in an engineering capacity
- A minimum of 1 year in a management or leadership position
- Proven experience with Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) for at least 1 year
- Direct experience with the NIST Risk Management Framework
- Proficiency with eMASS
- Familiarity with security tools and systems supporting Risk Management Framework (RMF), including NESSUS, ACAS, DISA STIGs, SCAP, Audit Reduction, and HBSS
- Ability to maintain a restricted badge and work on-site 5 days a week
- Current DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE Certification)
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with customers and team members
Responsibilities
- Support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) under the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract
- Assist in the creation and implementation of program information security for assigned systems to align with program and enterprise policies, standards, and guidelines
- Execute Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes within the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Conduct continuous security compliance monitoring (CONMON)
- Engage in security assessments and audits
- Develop and deliver technical reports and briefings
- Identify root causes, prioritize threats, and recommend/implement corrective measures
- Mentor and provide technical leadership within the information security program team
- Investigate current industry practices and knowledge regarding information security
- Aid in the formulation of enterprise-wide information security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures across diverse stakeholder organizations
