Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant DRSN experience
- Experience with DRSN nodal maintenance and secure communications tools (e.g., STE, vIPer, VoSIP, IST-2, TXP & DMCC)
- Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security)
- Current DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Eligibility
- Red Switch certificate of training or four years of relevant experience (preferred)
- Certification for Command and Control Switching Systems (CCSS) from Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) at Fort Huachuca, Arizona (preferred)
- Robust technical expertise with DRSN and DSS networks, including engineering, troubleshooting, and developing Local Service Requests (LSRs) and Change Requests
- Strong familiarity with encryption hardware used in DRSN/DSS networks
- Experience in operational network support, technical control environments, crypto maintenance, COMSEC, or systems administration
- Active CISSP certification (desired)
Responsibilities
- Maintain secure voice and data communication systems for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA)
- Provide technical insights to meet functional requirements and compliance standards for telecommunications programs
- Document and regularly report on the status of assigned duties
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for all DRSN equipment
- Manage the operation, maintenance, and administration of DRSN hardware and software
- Handle database management, including modifications, report generation, and documentation
- Generate and maintain operational status reports
- Oversee periodic rekeying of cryptographic equipment
- Maintain accurate records of site operations in the Master Station Log
- Monitor and assess CCSS system performance, addressing issues as necessary
- Keep the equipment database current to maintain accurate inventory
- Ensure the ticketing system is updated for DRSN trouble tickets to exceed customer repair requirements
- Respond promptly and professionally to client service requests, delivering exceptional customer service
- Use incident management tools to log all aspects of service-impacting network incidents
