Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Proficiency in relational databases (preferably Oracle or SQL Server), along with administration experience
- Background in system administration and troubleshooting software and hardware issues
- Experience in creating and managing virtual environments
- Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office Products
- Knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, C#
- Preferred experience in the process manufacturing industry
- Preferred familiarity with a Cold Rolling Mill environment
Responsibilities
- Collaborating in a team-oriented setting, effectively communicating with other engineers regardless of their specialization
- Coordinating user acceptance testing procedures with functional analysts and end users
- Performing code reviews to uphold coding standards within the team and reviewing ones own code
- Managing administration, development, technical support, and deployment within existing automation systems from various vendors to accommodate future requests
- Offering software configuration and customization, including report setup, data imports, integration, custom scripting, and third-party software integrations

This role involves managing Level 2 process automation projects to support the rolling mills through the design and implementation of various applications, databases, hardware, and HMI systems.
