Requirements
Must:
- 5-8 years of engineering experience, ideally in UI/frontend development.
- More than 4 years of experience managing engineers, preferably in a startup environment.
- Strong technical expertise in contemporary UI frameworks and technologies.
- Proven experience leading teams in developing AI-powered user interfaces or intricate interactive applications.
- Demonstrated success in delivering products through a rapid, iterative approach.
- Familiarity with startup-like methodologies in team settings.
- Excellent organizational abilities with a capacity to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- In-depth understanding of UX principles and their application in AI interfaces.
- Capability to think beyond immediate challenges to grasp wider business context.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of UI engineers focused on creating innovative AI experiences.
- Implement an iterative development approach that emphasizes rapid delivery of features for customer validation and experimentation.
- Engage in coding and reviewing pull requests, providing hands-on support and feedback to direct reports.
- Cultivate a startup-like culture that harmonizes high-quality coding with innovation and speedy delivery to facilitate customer feedback.
- Collaborate with product management to identify and prioritize features that will have a significant impact.
- Work alongside UX designers, ML engineers, and various contributors to create cohesive AI-driven experiences.
- Balance immediate project needs with long-term architectural considerations.
