Requirements
Must:
- Proven leadership experience in cybersecurity strategy and risk management
- Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, solutions architecture, and/or IT design
- Ability to work 100% onsite in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, starting on the contract date
Responsibilities
- Interpret and enforce information security policies and standards
- Educate and raise awareness regarding information security practices
- Address and manage information security incidents
- Conduct Threat Risk Assessments (TRAs) for IT-related projects across the government
- Oversee security assessments and requirements for IT-related solution and services procurements
- Provide security advisory and guidance to various business areas
- Monitor and evaluate emerging threats and vulnerabilities
Description
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Consultant to join our dedicated team at the Government of Saskatchewan office in Regina, Saskatchewan. This full-time position is integral to our mission of developing and implementing robust cybersecurity frameworks aligned with government goals. We offer a dynamic work environment, focusing on collaboration across the public sector to establish a centralized cybersecurity vision. The role requires on-site presence and is set to begin on March 23, 2026.
