Senior IT Operations Manager

As a Senior IT Administrator at Adient, I will entrust you with managing and enhancing our IT infrastructure to bolster our global operations. Your tasks will include: - Leading the IT team, primarily during first shift on weekdays, while ensuring support is available during off-shift and weekends, including on-call assistance. - Collaborating with plant management to discuss continuous improvement initiatives and fulfill requests. - Overseeing project management, being a key contributor to initiatives that deliver service improvements. - Driving the resolution of issues and implementing permanent corrective measures. - Acting as the primary IT liaison for internal and external Adient customers. - Promptly communicating IT activities to the Plant Leaders. - Handling IT tasks related to launches and providing updates during readiness reviews. - Performing daily operations for computer systems which encompass incident management, support for hardware, networking, software, and shop-floor systems at the manufacturing facility, with escalation to higher-level support teams when necessary. - Monitoring and administering local IT infrastructure while adhering to company processes and standards. - Managing access to IT services in compliance with security and vulnerability protocols. - Ensuring system backups are current and can be restored. - Scheduling and coordinating hardware and infrastructure installations with corporate and third-party suppliers. - Maintaining key operational metrics and documentation for IT services, equipment, and procedures. - Being available 24/7 for critical plant operation system support and demonstrating a willingness to work 45+ hours a week, including weekends.
