Requirements
Must:
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
- Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination for managing small components.
- Experience in reading and understanding blueprints.
- Electrical knowledge is advantageous.
- Detail-oriented and capable of following instructions accurately.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Manufacture components through the assembly of parts and subassemblies.
- Read and adhere to schematics, blueprints, and assembly guidelines.
- Position and align components either manually or with hoisting equipment.
- Utilize hand tools or machinery to assemble parts.
- Perform quality control checks to maintain product standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace and tools.
- Prepare for work by reviewing parts lists and gathering necessary materials and tools.
- Accurately position parts and subassemblies using templates or measurement instruments.
- Determine the fit of connections by assembling components and fastening parts.
- Ensure compliance with product specifications through measurement of finished components.
- Address assembly challenges by adjusting dimensions or consulting a supervisor when needed.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues, requesting repairs as necessary.
- Uphold a safe and tidy working environment by following safety regulations and protocols.
- Organize inventory by checking stock levels, placing orders, and confirming receipt of supplies.
- Optimize resource usage for efficient job completion.
- Record actions by filling out production and quality control documentation.
Description
We are a local company in Casper, Wyoming, offering competitive compensation at $18.00 per hour for a full-time Assembler role, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This is a temporary-to-hire position, and we provide extensive training for candidates.
