Requirements
Must:
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Proficient in Java, C#, or another comparable OOP language
- Skilled in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- Knowledge of relational database models with proficiency in SQL
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other iterative development methodologies
- Eagerness to quickly learn new technologies and development tools
- Experience using modern IDEs (such as Eclipse or Visual Studio) and source control management tools (SVN, Git)
- Creative approach to software design and innovation
- Desire to collaborate in a dynamic team environment
- Experience with APEX and Visualforce is highly preferred
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Willing to travel up to 10%
- Authorized to work for any U.S. employer
Responsibilities
- Engage in the entire application lifecycle including design, development, testing, and deployment utilizing modern Cloud-based development tools
- Collaborate directly with clients, development teams, and other stakeholders to ensure their success
- Design, develop, and integrate Salesforce applications using Visualforce, APEX, Java, .NET, and various web and mobile technologies
- Work alongside technical teams and senior architects to solidify architecture specifications and create designs for software customization and integration
- Develop proofs of concept (POC) when necessary, integrating new components with backend systems during the design and requirements phase to assess products and integration strategies
- Validate application code with unit tests, security tests, and profiling tools
- Aid in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving defects that arise during different project stages, including deployment in production environments
- Create project documents, which encompass functional and technical designs, along with end-user guides
