Requirements
Must:
- Proficient in Database Management (e.g., Progress OpenEdge, PostgreSQL, MSSQL)
- Familiar with Linux operating systems (e.g., CentOS, Redhat)
- Knowledgeable in Windows Server and related services (DNS, DHCP, AD)
- Experienced with VMWare and virtualization concepts
- Bachelors Degree or higher
- Excellent Analytical Skills
- Able to work effectively and lead challenging individuals
- Willingness to adhere to established procedures and create new documentation
- Understanding of hardware including Bare-Metal, Dissimilar Hardware, and Physical-to-Virtual migration techniques
Responsibilities
- Provide customer support related to Windows, Linux, and database systems
- Manage phone support queries, including potential after-hours assistance
- Log issues and maintain positive, professional communication with clients
- Diagnose and resolve client concerns within one business day
- Assist in managing our serverless infrastructure within the AWS cloud
- Guide programming and implementation teams on AWS best practices
- Help oversee ACUMENs internal network and computing infrastructure, including VMWare and IBM hardware
- Maintain accurate time entry for accountability
- Exercise self-management and decision-making abilities
