Requirements
Must:
- Associate degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- 1–3 years of IT support or help desk experience preferred
- IT support or help desk experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
- Basic understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, VPN)
- Experience with ticketing systems and remote assistance tools
- CompTIA or similar IT certifications are advantageous
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Capability to prioritize and handle multiple requests
- Attention to detail with robust documentation skills
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
- Quick to adapt and learn
- Positive demeanor
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for employees seeking technical support through phone, email, in-person, or ticketing systems
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to computers, printers, software applications, and network connectivity
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, desk phones, and printers
- Create and manage new user accounts, permissions, and access rights
- Provide support for common business applications (ERP, email, file systems, etc.)
- Record issues, resolutions, and procedures meticulously
- Refer complex technical problems to senior IT team members when required
- Assist with system updates, patches, and maintenance tasks
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and monitor asset assignments
- Offer basic training and guidance to employees on IT systems and tools
