Must:
We are looking for a candidate who has expertise in SQL for database querying and information retrieval. The individual should have a strong command of analytical tools like Tableau and Power BI, along with experience in programming languages such as R, Python, and Bash (Unix shell). Familiarity with database design principles and experience with Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle databases are essential. A solid understanding of Agile methodologies and project management concepts is also required. The ideal applicant should demonstrate excellent analytical capabilities to effectively interpret intricate data sets, possess knowledge of business analysis practices to evaluate and enhance processes, and have experience using Visio for process mapping, which is a plus. Strong communication skills are necessary to clearly articulate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will analyze extensive datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that will aid in shaping our business strategies. I will develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau and Power BI. Collaboration with stakeholders is key, as I will gather requirements and transform them into practical data solutions. I will participate in Agile project management practices to ensure projects are delivered on time. Additionally, I will conduct business analysis to evaluate existing processes and suggest improvements. My work will involve utilizing programming languages like R and Python for data manipulation and analysis, as well as designing and implementing database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle technologies. I will create documentation for data processes, focusing on database design and SDLC methodologies, and employ VBA to automate repetitive tasks within Excel and other applications. Furthermore, I will support the team on various analytics projects by providing insights derived from data analysis.
