Requirements
Must:
- Proficient troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Associates Degree in IT or a related field is preferred
- CompTIA A+ certification (or willingness to acquire within six months)
- Fundamental knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Capability to work independently and juggle multiple tasks
- Willingness to travel frequently and maintain a flexible schedule
- Must fulfill Act 33/34 and FBI clearance prerequisites
- Valid Pennsylvania drivers license and reliably insured vehicle for daily use
Responsibilities
- Deliver on-site technical assistance to users at various Achieva locations
- Diagnose and fix hardware, software, and network challenges
- Set up and configure workstations, peripherals, and associated equipment
- Install, update, and maintain software applications
- Conduct basic network troubleshooting as necessary
- Record service activities and uphold precise technical documentation
- Effectively communicate with staff to understand needs and resolve technical issues
- Provide exceptional customer service in all interactions
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned in response to organizational needs
- Expect significant travel (approximately 50% of work hours) to Achieva sites in Westmoreland and Allegheny counties; mileage will be reimbursed
