Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree
- Over 1 year of experience in Human Resources, nonprofit, event planning or corporate social responsibility
- Proficient in event organization and project management
- Experience with recognition or engagement initiatives
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong ability to collaborate across various teams and departments
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable presenting to groups and engaging with leadership
- Proficient in Canva, Copilot, and Microsoft Office
Responsibilities
- Lead and expand Aces employee volunteer and community engagement programs
- Manage and implement annual and quarterly volunteer initiatives, including Ace Cares Week
- Create communication materials, support documents, and registration processes for volunteer programs
- Assist in planning and executing employee engagement events, acting as a liaison with internal partners
- Collaborate with the Events Team and Ace Hardware Foundation Team on employee events and opportunities
- Support company recognition initiatives and related programs, such as articles and awards
- Partner with the Communications Team to promote engagement programs and encourage participation through internal channels
