Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a non-profit or charitable setting, with a strong understanding of vendor and retailer relationships, billing practices, payment terms, and vendor payment processing.
- Proficient analytical abilities, capable of examining financial figures to discern trends and generate reports.
- Knowledge of accounting processes.
- Skilled in problem-solving, able to analyze, investigate, and resolve issues using root-cause analysis techniques.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically basic competencies in Word and Excel.
- Competency in drafting reports and correspondence.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships, collaborate across departments, and foster connections with both internal and external donors.
- Willingness to travel 10-15%, including biannual trips to Ace Conventions and fundraising events as needed.
Responsibilities
- Oversee donation processing and reconciliation efforts.
- Analyze and report on donation data.
- Manage the payroll deduction program for all Ace Hardware employees across the enterprise.
- Provide support for vendor events, including communication, budget management, signage, and event planning.
- Assist with general support for the Foundation team.
