Requirements
Must:
- Proficient in Black box testing, White box testing, Regression Testing, and manual verification of embedded devices
- Ability to write test codes effectively
- Extensive experience in the Medical Device Industry is essential
- Strong understanding of Medical Quality Management System (MQMS), ISO 13485, and Risk Management ISO 14971
- Familiarity with Medical Device Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) as per IEC 62304 is preferred
- Solid expertise in System and Software architecture, along with the ability to create and execute test protocols
- Proficient in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, digital multimeters (DMM), and power supply units (PSU)
- Experience in designing, reviewing, and updating test protocols
- Hands-on experience with communication protocols like RS-232 and RS-485
- In-depth knowledge of testing software from inception through to final release, including requirement specifications, planning, and documentation
- Strong experience in Design Verification Testing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging effectively at various organizational levels
- Previous experience in regulated industries such as Medical, Aerospace, or Automotive is crucial
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough manual software verification for embedded devices
- Develop and execute test protocols while ensuring compliance with quality standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and scope
- Write and maintain test codes for efficient testing processes
- Utilize testing instruments to gather data and support verification activities
- Identify, document, and assist in resolving defects throughout the software lifecycle
- Prepare detailed reports outlining testing results, findings, and recommendations for product improvements
- Participate in design verification testing to validate product functionality and safety
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding testing progress and results
