Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Associate Degree in Network Engineering, or at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in interpreting riser diagrams and schematics.
- Familiarity with HP Aruba and Cisco network switches along with command line interfaces.
- Solid understanding of LAN, WAN, multicast, and routing protocols.
- Competent in Windows 10/11/Server and Linux Operating Systems.
- Experience utilizing GIT for configuration archiving.
- Ability to learn Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Teams if not already familiar.
- Excellent collaboration skills with all ACI business units.
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
- Reliable and adaptable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Team-focused and supportive of ACIs policies and procedures.
- Effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and configure HP, Cisco, Ubiquiti, Juniper, and Phoenix Contact network equipment for projects.
- Set up and configure Video Management Systems such as Bosch, Hanwha, Vicon, and others as needed.
- Install and configure Access Control systems including Genetec, Identicard, and Motorola based on project specifications.
- Collaborate with CAD Technicians to create and validate access control and network layouts.
- Support Field Technicians and Customer Service teams during the installation and troubleshooting of network, VMS, and access control systems.
- Conduct regular setups of Video Management and Access Control Systems.
- Provide training to enhance team knowledge of network technologies.
- Assist the Network Engineering Manager or CETO with additional engineering support as required.
- Offer customer service both in-house and on-site for non-critical service needs, as requested.
- Travel to project sites for assistance in network setups and systems troubleshooting.
- Assist with miscellaneous ACI tasks as assigned by the Network Engineering Manager or CETO.
