Requirements
Must:
- Associate Degree in Computer Programming or equivalent degree/experience
- Proficiency in Debian Linux and Windows operating systems
- Experience with Python, Node.js, TypeScript, C, C++, and C#
- Familiarity with Bash, HTML, CSS (including Bootstrap), JavaScript (including jQuery), PHP, and SQL
- Knowledge of HTTP, SIP, Modbus, ONVIF, and MQTT protocols
- Understanding of REST APIs and Nginx webserver
- Experience with Asterisk PBX
- Competence in using Git version control
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose various systems
- Willingness to learn audio, card access, and video management systems
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software and firmware solutions for hardware and applications
- Write and support programs in various programming languages including Python and TypeScript
- Create front-end user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- Engage in coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the development cycle
- Provide ongoing maintenance and enhancements for existing systems
- Collaborate with fellow engineers to assess technology and implement effective solutions
- Work with engineering teams to design tailored server and hardware solutions
- Deliver functional programming and coding using tools like Jira and Bitbucket Git
- Document processes and create manuals for internal use and end users
- Assist with engineering tasks as directed by the Engineering Team Director
