Requirements
Must:
- Proven ability to effectively convey (both verbally and in writing) requirements to stakeholders and development teams
- Experience collaborating closely with Project Manager, Architect, and developers to ensure business requirements are clearly communicated and met
- Skilled in translating and simplifying stakeholder requests into formal documentation for the development team, including Business Requirements Documents, Functional and Technical Design Documents, Technical Use Cases, User Stories, Business Cases, Requirements Traceability Matrix, and Test Cases
- Proficient in creating diagrams, flowcharts, and workflows for various business processes
- Expertise in data flow documentation and visualization
- Experience in creating and managing test cases for Quality Assurance
- Familiarity with software and database development principles
- Background in developing technical documentation tailored for enterprise software, system administrators, and technical audiences
- Strong capability in requirements management and documentation creation
- Extensive experience in mapping business processes into technical documents
- Proven experience conducting user acceptance testing
- Competent in analyzing business functions
- Practical know-how in generating process documentation and report creation
- Strong proficiency in relevant Microsoft applications, particularly Visio
- Extensive experience with data visualization tools
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convert data into actionable insights
- Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodologies
- Experience with MS Visio or similar software
- Knowledge of Database Entity Design, Figma
- Familiarity with common education data standards and SQL
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and documentation of detailed business requirements
- Perform thorough analyses to identify problems, opportunities, and solutions for stakeholders
- Author and update both internal and external documentation, ensuring clarity and precision
- Initiate and deliver comprehensive requirements documentation in a formal manner
- Assess operational objectives by studying and detailing business functions, information gathering, and evaluating existing outputs and formats
- Enhance systems by analyzing and documenting their current state and relevant business rules
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders across various business units to develop essential analyses and documentation in a team-oriented manner
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with executive teams
- Distill technical information for non-technical audiences and business information for technical teams
- Apply complex understanding of technical writing concepts, practices, and procedures
- Construct workflow charts and diagrams while analyzing system capabilities and writing specifications
- Translate stakeholder requests into formal requirements for web-based application development and design dashboards and reports
- Deliver high-quality business requirement documentation for business manuals, training manuals, user guides, and system guides
