Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in Natural and ADABAS development
- Proficient in COBOL batch programming with ADABAS database in a Linux environment
- Skilled in troubleshooting complex SNAP and TANF eligibility determination systems
- Familiarity with Natural One IDE and MicroFocus COBOL
- Experience in analysis, design, and programming for large-scale development projects on IBM Mainframe/Linux systems
- Competence in developing, maintaining, and updating documentation for processes and policies
- Ability to interpret and implement federal and state mandates on Linux systems such as MAVS
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities in English
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with a creative mindset
- Experience with SCRUM and iterative methodologies
- Familiarity with Jira Software
- Capacity to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience migrating outdated technologies to modern solutions
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the development team to enhance and maintain the statewide SNAP/TANF Eligibility Determination system
- Utilize latest technologies for system integration and process automation
- Provide on-call support for system issues
- Analyze system specifications and contribute to design and programming
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to eligibility determination systems
- Offer recommendations for system enhancements and process improvements
- Develop and update documentation for procedural policies
- Work independently while contributing effectively to team projects
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
- Contribute to creative solution development and problem-solving within the team
Description
