Requirements
Must:
- Over 12 years of expertise in data engineering, showcasing a successful history with MDM implementations, ideally within the financial services sector.
- In-depth practical experience in designing and deploying MDM solutions along with evaluating different MDM platform options.
- Strong understanding of reference data sources and domain-specific data standards.
- Proficient in Python, Pyspark, Kafka, microservices architecture (especially GraphQL), Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, SQL, and orchestration tools like Airflow or Astronomer.
- Familiar with CI/CD methodologies, tools, and automation pipelines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams to provide intricate data solutions.
- Background in financial systems (capital markets, credit risk, and compliance with regulations).
- Preferred but not mandatory: Knowledge of financial data models and regulatory standards.
- Exposure to Azure cloud platforms.
- Understanding of data governance, data quality frameworks, and metadata management.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the design, development, and implementation of extensive MDM solutions throughout the organization, focusing on financial data domains.
- Exhibit substantial experience with various MDM implementations, including platform selection, assessment, and enhancement.
- Architect and deliver comprehensive end-to-end MDM frameworks, ensuring scalability, data integrity, and adherence to governance standards.
- Assess different MDM platforms (e.g., Informatica, Reltio, Talend, IBM MDM) and offer unbiased recommendations aligned with business needs.
- Work in partnership with business stakeholders to comprehend reference data sources and formulate strategies for effective management of reference and master data.
- Create data integration pipelines utilizing modern data engineering tools and methodologies.
- Develop, automate, and sustain data workflows using Python, Airflow, or Astronomer.
- Construct and improve data processing solutions using Kafka, Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and associated technologies.
- Design microservices, particularly employing GraphQL, to provide adaptable and scalable data services.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security protocols.
- Support CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous integration and deployment of data solutions.
