Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency in COBOL CICS programming with ADABAS database experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex SNAP and TANF eligibility determination systems
- Familiarity with Linux environments, especially with MicroFocus COBOL in enterprise development
- Ability to design and create new screens and functions to work with legacy systems
- Experience in the analysis and programming of large-scale development projects on IBM Mainframe/Linux systems
- Background in automated eligibility determination systems, particularly related to SNAP and TANF
- Expertise in Mainframe CICS system architectures
- Capability to recommend system and process enhancements
- Experience in developing, maintaining, and updating documentation for relevant procedures and policies
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our development team to support and enhance the statewide SNAP/TANF Eligibility Determination system
- Implement modern technologies for system integration and process automation
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to SNAP and TANF eligibility
- Design and build new functionalities and screens for legacy systems
- Conduct analysis, design, and programming for large-scale projects on IBM Mainframe/Linux platforms
- Provide subject matter expertise on CICS system architectures
- Propose improvements for existing systems and work processes
- Create and update documentation pertaining to procedures, policies, and processes
