Requirements
Must:
- Proven hands-on expertise in R programming

- Knowledge of ADABAS/Natural, Agile methodologies, and Power BI
- Advanced skills in statistical modeling, data manipulation, scripting, and reproducible reporting
- Experience in developing and validating statistical reporting models
- Understanding of federal reporting standards and regulatory compliance
- Capability to rewrite legacy coding processes using modern industry standards
- Experience in documenting business rules, methodologies, and revision history
- Strong focus on data validation, quality assurance, and audit trail development
- Proficient in quantitative research and analytical problem-solving
- Proven ability to work independently as a contributor
- Strong communication skills for translating technical findings for non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with version control, reproducibility practices, and structured model governance
- Supervisory experience considered a plus, alongside WebLogic experience
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on federal reporting requirements with the agency
- Rewrite legacy coding processes to meet current industry standards
- Research, develop, and maintain statistical reporting models in R
- Deliver high-quality documentation and presentations for model support
- Interact effectively with functional and technical consultants to aid model building and deployments
- Handle development and back testing of models
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) processes
- Ensure adherence to data validation and quality assurance protocols
- Maintain an organized audit trail of revisions and methodologies
- Apply quantitative research skills to solve analytical challenges
- Communicate technical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Adhere to structured model governance and reproducibility practices
Description
We are seeking a skilled R Programmer for a 14-month contract starting immediately. This role is crucial in assisting our agency with federal reporting mandates and improving current coding practices. As an individual contributor, you will engage in quantitative analysis and work on developing and maintaining statistical reporting models.
