Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 9 years of experience in software development with a successful track record as a Technical Lead
- Experience in the Casualty insurance domain
- Expertise in MS Azure cloud services and architecture
- Proficient in Angular 18 with a strong grasp of front-end development best practices
- Extensive experience in .NET Core for constructing scalable backend solutions
- In-depth understanding of SQL database design, development, and optimization
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and the software development lifecycle
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
- Strong leadership qualities with experience in managing a development team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Certifications in Azure, .NET, or Angular technologies
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Understanding of microservice architecture and RESTful API development
- Experience with various database technologies, including NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cosmos DB)
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of developers in the creation, maintenance, and deployment of a suite of software applications
- Design and build scalable, high-performance, and secure applications on the cloud using MS Azure
- Develop engaging user interfaces utilizing the latest version of Angular (Angular 18)
- Ensure the delivery of reliable backend solutions using .NET Core
- Manage the design and upkeep of SQL databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, and security
- Collaborate with project managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to guarantee successful project outcomes
- Foster best practices in code quality, testability, and maintainability
- Stay current with emerging technology trends and advancements in software development
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to team members
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to development processes and standards
