Requirements
Must:
- Over 12 years of experience in Java development
- Profound knowledge of the commodity trading lifecycle (e.g., deal capture, pricing, risk, settlement)
- Practical experience with OpenLink Endur, including JVS, AVS, and TPM
- Advanced skills in SQL, PL/SQL, and relational databases
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and the Spring Framework
- Understanding of energy trading, financial instruments, and risk management principles
- Outstanding problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Preferred: Experience in customizing and extending Endur with Java
- Preferred: Knowledge of ETRM/CTRM systems and integration methodologies
- Preferred: Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps tools
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and sustain Java-based applications for commodity trading operations
- Integrate and tailor OpenLink Endur modules to fulfill business needs
- Collaborate with business analysts, traders, and risk managers to ascertain functional requirements
- Develop APIs and services for interfacing with Endur and other enterprise systems
- Enhance application performance while ensuring scalability and reliability
- Engage in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes
- Provide production support and resolve issues promptly
- Document technical specifications and maintain detailed system records
Description
We are looking for a talented Java Developer with expertise in the commodity trading sector and proficiency in OpenLink Endur to join our team based in Houston, TX. This is a long-term opportunity with a W2 contract where youll be expected to work onsite from Day 1 and transition to a hybrid schedule after three days in the office each week.
