ERP Business Analyst - Epicor

- Facilitate the execution of our Epicor ERP implementation as a key on-site subject matter expert - Evaluate existing business processes across departments, configuring Epicor modules to enhance operational workflows - Identify discrepancies between standard Epicor features and our business needs, creating viable solutions through customization or integration - Collaborate closely with department leaders and employees to gather requirements and validate system configurations - Ensure the system is designed for adaptability, ready to grow alongside our organization - Manage the Epicor ERP environment, including user administration, security roles, and permissions - Perform regular maintenance tasks including system backups, updates, and patches - Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues proactively, and suggest enhancements - Work with IT to ensure seamless integration between Epicor and other business systems - Conduct data analysis within Epicor ERP to identify trends and potential areas for improvement - Create and manage continual and ad-hoc reporting for departments and executives - Develop and fine-tune SQL queries for complex data extraction and analysis - Design dashboards and visualizations that effectively communicate insights to facilitate decision-making - Utilize Epicors native reporting tools and external BI platforms for precise, detailed reporting - Clean and manage data to uphold consistency and reporting accuracy - Build automated reporting solutions to enhance data delivery across the organization - Partner with department heads to determine Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and create supporting reports - Analyze workflows to propose data-driven process enhancements - Provide management with actionable, data-driven advice to support strategic decisions - Serve as the primary on-site resource for Epicor, providing assistance with queries and guidance - Train end users on system functions, reporting tools, and best practices - Develop confidence and capability across the organization as system adoption increases
