Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in network installation and support.
- Strong understanding of networking equipment, cable management, and hardware configuration.
- Experience in managing IT or technical projects.
- Hands-on experience with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and common office IT systems.
- Familiarity with VOIP systems and general troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and work from floor plans and technical diagrams.
- Comfortable using lifts and working at heights with ladders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, PMP).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and effectively manage time across various responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Install complete network systems for small to medium-sized businesses.
- Configure network racks, equipment, cabling, cameras, wireless access points, and other related hardware.
- Conduct network cable installation and testing to ensure performance and reliability.
- Safely operate ladders and lifts for overhead installations and cabling work.
- Collaborate with clients to plan and define the scope of network installations.
- Review and interpret floor plans to determine optimal placement of equipment.
- Coordinate with internal procurement teams for equipment purchasing.
- Track and manage the installation of incoming equipment.
- Oversee projects from initial planning to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Provide Help Desk support by addressing issues with laptops, desktops, Windows, Microsoft 365, VOIP phones, printing, and more when not working on a project.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to laptops, desktops, Windows OS, Microsoft 365, VOIP systems, printers, and overall IT infrastructure.
- Log and monitor Help Desk tickets, ensuring timely resolution of customer issues.
