We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Over 5 years of experience in software quality assurance testing, with a focus on manual testing.
- A solid grasp of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid.
- Practical experience with .NET, Angular, and SQL databases.
- Demonstrated ability to develop both technical and end-user documentation.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience working closely with both business and technical teams.
- Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or other project management tools is preferred.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will report to the Director of Information Technology (IT) and will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Designing, documenting, and executing thorough test cases for all versions of our applications.
- Conducting manual QA testing on all development work to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborating with business teams to create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs).
- Serving as a bridge between business stakeholders and developers to ensure clarity of requirements and deliverables.
- Creating and maintaining technical design documents as well as software documentation.
- Developing end-user guides, documentation, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for business operations.
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects while working with developers to find solutions.
- Participating in reviews of requirements, technical design, and testing strategies.
- Ensuring that applications adhere to internal standards, policies, and security best practices.
- Performing regression testing (QA), user acceptance testing (UAT), and release validations.
- Continuously suggesting process enhancements for QA and documentation practices.
Description
Our ideal environment is one where collaboration is key; you will be expected to work during standard business hours, 9 am to 5:30 pm, with no remote work options. Occasionally, you may need to perform tasks outside of these hours. We value your focus and attention to detail, as this role will require you to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. The position is full-time, with a salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 per year. We also offer benefits, including dental care and extended health care. Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, SQL, .NET, and Angular.
