Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in advising on system design and process flows
- At least 4 years of expertise as a Siemens Opcenter Subject Matter Expert (SME), including experience with MES platforms like SIMATIC IT
- Proven experience leading and managing project teams of 5 or more individuals
- Masters degree in Computer Science, Manufacturing Engineering, Information Technology, or similar field is preferred
- Relevant MES certifications or substantial experience with various MES platforms
- Familiarity with IoT platforms, edge computing, and Industry 4.0 technologies within manufacturing environments
- Insight into Aerospace & Defense industry practices and regulations is advantageous
- Must be a US Citizen with an active Secret Clearance
- Willingness to travel to St. Louis, MO weekly from Monday to Thursday or be local to the area
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on best practices for integrating Siemens Opcenter/MES with SAP
- Facilitate discussions with client stakeholders to identify business needs and deliver actionable recommendations along with clear rationales
- Develop and sustain strong client relationships, acting as the primary contact for MES-SAP integration projects
- Create high-level architectural designs to ensure efficient data flow between SAP and Siemens Opcenter/MOM/MES systems
- Maintain technical design documentation for the MES-SAP integration process, ensuring it aligns with business and technical requirements
- Collaborate with Data Architects to develop data synchronization strategies and detailed process and data flow maps
- Enhance existing SAP-MES integrations for optimal real-time data exchange, boosting performance and operational efficiency
- Diagnose and resolve complex integration challenges across the manufacturing IT/OT landscape
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and traceability across MES and SAP systems
