Requirements
Must:
- US Citizenship required (no dual citizens)
- DoD Interim Secret clearance
- Bachelors degree is mandatory
- Understanding of Databricks and Palantir Foundry capabilities
- Ability to work on-site or within commuting distance of San Antonio, Texas
- Experience working within AWS GovCloud or similar secure cloud environments
Preferred experience:
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Experience with Department of the Air Force cloud platforms such as Advana/War Data Platform, Platform One, and Envision
- Familiarity with Databricks Unity Catalog
- Experience supporting multi-cloud architectures, self-healing pipelines, and high-availability environments
Responsibilities
- Design cloud-based architectures for data storage, management, analytics, and multi-cloud high-availability environments focused on AWS GovCloud
- Create solutions that allow remote access to dashboards and self-service data exploration tools
- Provide guidance on optimizing cloud resource utilization, data management, and storage for both structured and unstructured data (batch and streaming)
- Enhance access controls and security measures
- Advise on the deployment of custom applications within the environment
- Collaborate with data engineers and developers on designing and implementing self-healing data pipelines and managing metadata repositories
- Assist client and delivery teams in introducing AI and automation capabilities
