Requirements
Must:
- 4 years of experience in cloud engineering and infrastructure
- 2 years of experience in implementing secure cloud architectures for enterprise or government environments
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred)
- CompTIA Security+ (current) or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification within 6 months of onboarding (preferred)
- AWS Solutions Architect Certification (preferred)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices (preferred)
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting languages (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure and scalable cloud architectures across various platforms based on established best practices
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code for consistent deployments
- Implement DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid delivery
- Optimize cloud security controls and compliance measures
- Create cloud-native disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity solutions
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and enhance performance
- Collaborate within Agile frameworks during sprints and planning sessions
- Partner with cross-functional teams in fast-paced development cycles
- Identify and act on infrastructure needs and optimization opportunities
- Mentor team members and advocate for technical standards and best practices
