Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline required
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience
- Robust understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Proficient computer skills with a strong command of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience with SAP ERP system is preferred
- MBA, CPA, or CMA certification is desirable
- Financial experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous
- Detail-oriented with exceptional accuracy
- Ability to work autonomously and juggle multiple projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, self-motivated and an independent thinker
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular analysis of process order closures and prepare month-end material and labor reports
- Monitor daily manufacturing overhead absorption and unit production, offering actual versus budget/forecast insights to the Senior Site Leadership Team
- Track manufacturing variances and report biweekly performance at both process order and product levels
- Collaborate with production teams weekly to review manufacturing variances and ensure accurate issuance of raw materials to process orders
- Execute fixed asset inventory and reconciliation tasks
- Analyze monthly overhead expenditures and generate appropriate accruals
- Complete journal entries for month-end closings and reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly
- Assist with Accounts Payable vendor concerns acting as a liaison between site purchasing and FSS AP
- Support performance excellence initiatives through metrics reporting on material and labor
- Aid in temp labor accrual and reconciliation processes
- Contribute to inventory analysis and reconciliations
- Assist with critical site projects
- Undertake additional tasks as delegated by management
