Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- 1-5 years of experience in data visualization and business intelligence
- Proficient in Microsoft Power BI, including Power BI Desktop/Server, DAX, and SQL
- Familiarity with Microsoft technology stack (SQL Server, SQL Management Studio, SSIS, SSAS, Azure data platform)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience in training both technical and non-technical staff
- Understanding of K-12 education data and collaboration with school district personnel
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
Responsibilities
- Create and design engaging Power BI data visualizations
- Develop and manage Power BI Dataflows (Gen 1 and Gen 2)
- Prepare functional and technical documentation for Business Intelligence solutions
- Engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Conduct training sessions for technical staff and non-technical users
- Collaborate with business and IT partners to identify key use cases and production requirements
- Facilitate workshops, whiteboarding sessions, design meetings, and project discussions as necessary
- Monitor and supervise systems analysis and application programming to solve data-related issues
- Oversee project timelines, feasibility studies, and cost estimates for new or revised systems
- Assist in developing standards and guidelines for operating systems applications
- Manage stakeholder communication to ensure project completion aligns with organizational standards
- Lead the creation and documentation of technical requirements and system architecture
