Requirements
Must:
- 8-12 years of experience in Java development
- 4-8 years of hands-on experience with Endur (v14 and above)
- Strong knowledge of Endur components and frameworks, including AVS, JVS, OpenComponents, Connex, and Openlink Grid
- In-depth understanding of the complete trade lifecycle from deal capture to end-of-day processing
- Advanced skills in Java/J2EE and solid knowledge of the Spring framework and multithreading
- Extensive experience in API development (REST/SOAP) and event-driven architectures using Kafka, JMS, and MQ
- Domain expertise across various commodities such as Crude, LNG, Power, Gas, and Renewables
- Strong understanding of market data management, pricing models, and risk engine integration
- Familiarity with risk and valuation concepts including MtM, VaR, Greeks, and scenario analysis
- Experience with databases like Oracle and SQL Server, including performance tuning and optimization
- Proven ability to enhance high-volume transaction processing systems
- Familiarity with modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, Git, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Exposure to cloud deployment of Endur in AWS and Azure environments
- Understanding of regulatory reporting, including EMIR, REMIT, Dodd-Frank, and platforms like eConfirm and DTCC
- Working knowledge of Python for data extraction and automation in Endur
- Experience using Perl for batch processing and automation tasks
Responsibilities
- Lead complex Endur upgrade and customization projects across trading platforms
- Oversee end-to-end trading lifecycle processes including deal capture, scheduling, settlement, and risk management
- Design and configure Endur components utilizing AVS, JVS, OpenComponents, and custom Java solutions
- Create and develop scalable backend services and applications in alignment with Endur workflows
- Build and maintain APIs, microservices, and custom workflow handlers using Java and Spring
- Develop extension modules for pricing, market data processing, and trade lifecycle events
- Implement integration solutions to ensure smooth connectivity between Endur and external systems
- Work with REST/SOAP services, JMS, MQ, Kafka, and construct event-driven architectures
- Enhance trade, pricing, and risk data pipelines to boost performance and reliability
- Apply quantitative models for analytics and calculation frameworks
- Conduct code reviews and promote coding best practices within the team
- Collaborate with traders and business experts to convert complex needs into effective Java and Endur solutions
- Facilitate Agile practices in Java development, managing CI/CD, sprint planning, and release management
