Requirements
Must:
- A bachelors degree in computer science, Business Administration, or a related field relevant to Information Technology or the healthcare industry.
- 10-12 years of IT experience within large or mid-sized multinational pharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostics, or other healthcare organizations.
- A successful history of leading teams, both directly and indirectly.
- Experience in developing IT strategy and aligning it with business goals.
- Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously.
- Experience managing a project portfolio with budgets ranging from $1M to $10MM and/or operating budgets of $7MM to $12MM.
- Comprehensive understanding of the software life cycle, including aspects of privacy and security.
- Skills in collaborating with commercial business leaders and understanding their strategies/processes to seek innovative solutions for enhancing business operations for both internal users and external customers.
- Capability to work effectively with all levels of management, including Division Directors and VPs.
- Experience in vendor management.
Responsibilities
As the Sr. IT Business Relationship Manager (BRM), I will collaborate with the Rapid Diagnostics Infectious Disease Commercial and Marketing Organizations to meet their application portfolio strategic goals and business requirements. My role will ensure that the application portfolio supports and enhances our organizational strategy through the effective delivery of programs, projects, and applications. I will engage directly with business clients to comprehend end-to-end business processes, translating their needs into IT opportunities and investments, with an aim to standardize business processes wherever necessary.
I will serve as the primary liaison between IT and the Rapid Diagnostics Infectious Disease business functions, including Commercial Operations, International Affiliate Operations, and Marketing. My focus will be on managing client relationships by utilizing my IT and business expertise to develop business cases and identify essential requirements for implementing process and technology solutions. I will oversee project delivery, collaborating with Corporate IT Plan/Build and Support teams for the implementation and support of technology investments. Additionally, I will manage portfolio and tactical projects intended to enhance business effectiveness and contribute to larger projects with cross-divisional or corporate relevance.
Description
To thrive in this role, I need to grasp the end-to-end business processes within key functional areas and possess experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, particularly SAP, as well as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, specifically SalesForce. I will leverage my interpersonal skills to build and strengthen relationships within the Divisional business community, work collaboratively with team members across various functions and roles, lead cross-functional groups towards shared objectives, and effectively communicate with executive management. Moreover, I will partner with the business to formulate long-term strategic plans and assist the Infectious Disease IT BRM Director with financial planning and project budgeting, tracking applications for SLC compliance, and developing long-range plans for future IT investments. This is an onsite role situated in Lake Forest, IL, and is not available as a remote opportunity. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,300.00 to $254,700.00, with potential variations in specific locations.
