Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 15 years of IT experience in Fortune 500 companies, managing environments with over 5,000 nodes.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft 365, and related technologies.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Graph and Exchange API for managing messaging systems.
- Demonstrated experience with PowerShell scripting in an M365 environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, Teams, and Proofpoint.
- Experience migrating email environments during mergers and acquisitions.
- Understanding of networking and security principles concerning messaging systems.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of complex IT architecture, along with the configuration and maintenance of the organizations technology environment.
- Collaborate with technical teams to integrate intricate IT infrastructure, ensuring it meets business requirements.
- Serve as a facilitator, addressing integration issues across systems and ensuring compatibility among multiple platforms.
- Develop and manage PowerShell scripts to automate tasks and enhance efficiency in the messaging environment.
- Utilize Microsoft Graph to oversee and manage various facets of messaging infrastructure.
- Understand and manage mail flow, possessing in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and Exchange Online Protection (EOP).
- Design, implement, manage, and monitor data retention policies in compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Provide mentorship and support to junior team members as necessary.
