Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 to 8 years of experience in security design and implementation.
- Proven experience in developing and documenting strategic cybersecurity solution roadmaps.
- Capacity to advocate for and address cybersecurity requirements within cross-functional teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to cultivate consensus and obtain stakeholder support across various business units.
- Masters degree or equivalent is preferred.
- Certifications or associated experience with security architecture frameworks such as SABSA or TOGAF are beneficial.
- Advanced information security certifications like CISSP, CISM, or relevant SANS certifications are desirable.
- Experience delivering presentations to executive-level audiences is a plus.
- Familiarity with the medical device or life sciences industries is advantageous.
- Background in conducting risk assessments and threat modeling is useful.
Responsibilities
- Develop proactive cybersecurity strategies and multi-year roadmaps to tackle current and future security challenges.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to draft and revise cybersecurity policies and control standards in line with evolving best practices.
- Identify emerging risks and aid in designing policies, controls, and processes that are:
- Technology agnostic
- Based on business needs, risk profile, and organizational objectives
- Created with input from stakeholders
- Comprehensive, efficient, pragmatic, and forward-looking
- Define business requirements for cybersecurity tools and lead objective evaluations of potential vendor solutions.
- Act as a cybersecurity subject matter expert within strategic IT project teams.
