Requirements

Must:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cyber fraud, fraud operations, or cybersecurity operations within an e-commerce or digital environment - Proven expertise in fraud detection, investigation, incident response, and preventive strategies - Experience optimizing or implementing fraud detection and monitoring systems - Strong understanding of adversarial tactics and abuse patterns in cyber fraud - Competence in threat modeling methodologies (e.g., STRIDE, PASTA) relevant to fraud use cases - Familiarity with fraud data analysis and visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau - Knowledge of digital investigations, log analysis, and automation tools - Ability to develop, operationalize, and enhance incident response and fraud playbooks - Hands-on experience with cyber fraud or threat intelligence - Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in dynamic, start-up environments - Excellent written and verbal communication abilities - Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Assurance, or related field

Responsibilities

- Serve as a key subject matter expert on cyber fraud threats affecting e-commerce and consumer digital platforms - Design and establish cyber fraud prevention capabilities and governance as the function develops - Provide strategic direction on cyber fraud policies, standards, and operating procedures - Advise cross-functional teams on embedding fraud prevention and detection measures into digital product design - Conduct cyber fraud threat modeling to proactively identify potential fraud vectors and control gaps - Integrate applications and digital services into fraud monitoring and alert systems - Monitor, detect, and respond to cyber fraud incidents using analytics and intelligence-driven tools - Identify enhancement opportunities for fraud detection logic, controls, and automation - Create and maintain playbooks for fraud detection, investigation, escalation, and response - Lead efforts for containment, remediation, and recovery from cyber fraud incidents - Perform advanced data analytics to uncover anomalous activity and identify trends - Conduct thorough investigations to assess the scope and impact of fraud events - Clearly communicate incident status, trends, and recommendations to management and stakeholders - Analyze root causes and systemic issues contributing to fraud risk - Research and track tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) utilized by cyber fraud actors - Stay updated on cyber fraud threat intelligence, industry developments, and regulatory matters - Periodically report on the cyber fraud risk posture of Abbotts e-commerce and digital environments
