MES Application Architect

- Serve as a subject matter expert in MES and industrial automation - Collaborate with business units, engineering, and infrastructure teams to design and develop recipes and application integrations aligned with business goals - Implement robust manufacturing systems and processes - Apply strong knowledge of supply chain management or manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency - Understand integration between MES, PLM, and ERP systems - Facilitate equipment integration and shop floor systems - Work on POMSnet recipe and base data updates and creation - Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of process flow for requirement gathering, design, development, and recipe building - Support critical MES enhancement projects, including hardware upgrades, process streamlining, architecture upgrades, recipe delivery, and testing coordination - Adhere to the Computerized Systems Validation process and Software Lifecycle (SLC) methodology for system qualification and validation - Assess immediate technical needs and develop solutions; provide insights on options, risks, costs vs. benefits, and impacts on business processes - Collaborate with IT functional teams to communicate business needs, contribute to development of long-range system plans, and ensure alignment of products and services with business requirements - Act as a technical leader, guiding staff in the development, testing, and implementation of new products or operational improvements - Review, validate, and enhance design, conduct performance monitoring, capacity planning; install, test, and upgrade releases and associated products - Ensure compliance with Corporate and Divisional policies and procedures
