Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 8-10 years of experience in secure design and implementation, with 2-5 years focusing specifically on AI security.
- Extensive knowledge of AI technologies and their associated security challenges.
- Proven experience in developing and documenting strategic roadmaps for cybersecurity solutions, especially for AI security.
- Strong capability to communicate cybersecurity requirements and policies effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in translating technical AI security concepts into language understandable for business stakeholders.
- Excellent soft skills to foster collaboration and gain support from various stakeholders across different business units.
Responsibilities
- Formulate policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard AI use cases throughout their operational lifecycle.
- Provide guidance on the secure and responsible integration of AI into medical devices that enhance peoples lives.
- Utilize threat modeling and secure design principles to create security controls for AI systems developed by Abbott.
- Act as a subject matter expert on AI cybersecurity topics, promoting best practices across the organization.
- Represent Abbotts cybersecurity interests in internal discussions and industry forums related to AI.
- Oversee Abbotts AI cybersecurity governance program and contribute actively where necessary.
- Keep updated on advancements in AI security and ensure Abbotts protective measures evolve with technological changes.
- Monitor vendor capabilities, generate solution-neutral requirements for AI security, assess vendor offerings against Abbotts needs, and recommend suitable products and services when necessary.
- Develop policies and controls to ensure Abbott employees use AI in ways that protect company data and systems.
