Requirements
Must:
- I hold a bachelors degree in computer engineering or a similar field, or I possess equivalent years of experience in a related role.
- I have a minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with progressive growth into an IT Architecture role that aligns with this position.
- I have at least 3 years of hands-on experience as a Solutions Architect, demonstrating a proven track record of delivering scalable solutions.
- I possess deep expertise in insurance claims systems and/or designing Salesforce platforms with API integrations.
- I have a strong technology leadership background, showcasing collaboration with stakeholders, solution evaluation, and strategic recommendations.
Responsibilities
- I will be responsible for crafting IT software solution deliveries through the role of IT Solution Architect.
- My work will significantly impact the companys digital transformation, utilizing tools such as Salesforce, Xifin, and Five9.
- I will align technology solutions with business strategies, collaborating with management and technical specialists across various disciplines.
- I will participate in the development of Abbotts infrastructure, understanding the impact of applications and supporting specialist teams in multi-system architecture.
- My responsibilities include defining strategic IT capability maps that describe the Commercial and Operations Lead-to-Cash process requirements.
- I will design and develop data integration and migration strategies, including HL7 / FHIR, EDI, and Web services.
- I will provide data integration and API solution designs for both on-premises and cloud-based business applications, ensuring they meet business requirements.
- I will conduct proof-of-concepts (POC) to validate solutions and create a foundational codebase ready for implementation.
- I will document data flows and ratify data ownership and retention policies.
- I will engage in project planning activities with project managers to offer insights on implementation strategies and inter-team dependencies.
- I will partner closely with product owners and engineering managers to establish roadmaps and sprint planning objectives that align with solution designs.
- I will represent the IT organization as the domain expert for all technical solutions, ensuring alignment across teams.
- I will collaborate with the broader architecture community, including the Architectural Review Board (ARB) and Security Review Board, to provide feedback on strategies and standards.

The base pay for this position ranges from $128,000.00 to $256,000.00, with variation based on specific locations.
