Requirements
Must:
- A bachelorโs degree in computer science, Business Administration, or a related field relevant to Information Technology or healthcare.
- 10-12 years of IT experience in large or mid-sized multinational pharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostics, or other healthcare organizations.
- Proven success in managing a project portfolio with projects ranging between $1M and $10MM and/or operating budgets from $7MM to $12MM.
- Strong application knowledge of platforms such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (SAP, JDE, Infor), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and others.
- Experience managing supply chain-related projects and supporting technology solutions.
- A successful track record in leading teams, both with direct and indirect responsibilities.
- Experience in establishing IT strategy and aligning it with business objectives.
- Strong capability in creating effective business cases.
- Ability to influence and manage without direct authority.
- Familiarity with the complete software development life cycle (SDLC), including privacy and security considerations.
- Experience with vendor management and the ability to work effectively with all levels of management, including Division Directors and VPs.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will be responsible for IT Business Relationship Management (BRM) within Supply Chain and Manufacturing by collaborating with the Cardiometabolic and Informatics (CMI) Manufacturing and Operations Organization. My goal is to ensure that our application portfolio supports our strategic objectives and meets business needs. I will work closely with business clients to comprehend their end-to-end business processes and translate those needs into IT opportunities and investments.
Additionally, I will act as the primary liaison between IT and several CMI operational business functions, including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Distribution, Logistics, and Plant Operations/Engineering. This involves managing relationships with business clients, applying my IT and business expertise to establish business cases, and identifying the requirements for implementing process and technology solutions. My project delivery will require collaboration with Corporate IT Plan/Build and Support teams to implement technology investments successfully.
I will also oversee portfolio and tactical projects aimed at enhancing business effectiveness, as well as contributing to larger projects that may impact multiple divisions or our corporate structure.
Description
To excel in this position, I need to possess a deep understanding of primary functional areas end-to-end business processes, along with experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, specifically JDE, Infor, SAP, and ideally S/4HANA. Knowledge of Facilities, Utilities, and Equipment (FUE) and overall plant operations is preferred. Utilizing my soft skills, I will aim to build and strengthen relationships with the divisional business community, collaborate with team members across various functions, lead cross-functional groups toward common objectives, communicate effectively with Executive Management, and partner with the business to formulate long-term strategic plans. Furthermore, I will assist the CMI IT BRM Director with financial planning and project budgeting, track business-owned and supported applications for lifecycle compliance, and develop long-term plans for future IT investments. This is an onsite position, and I must be aware that this role is not available for remote work.
