Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in mathematics, Computer Science, AI, Business Administration, or a related field pertinent to the Healthcare sector. - Between 8 to 10 years of experience in IT within large or mid-sized multinational Pharmaceutical or Health Care organizations. - Proven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, grasp business strategies and processes, and seek innovative solutions to enhance operations for internal stakeholders and external clients. - Extensive experience in defining and implementing Information Management practices regarding records management, master data, data governance, and data quality and privacy. - Experience working effectively with management to establish IT strategies and ensure alignment with business needs. - Clear understanding and proven experience of the complete software life cycle, inclusive of privacy and security aspects. - Successfully managed portfolios related to data projects. - Intermediate proficiency in SharePoint and Power BI. - Experience in leading teams and projects. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. - Demonstrated leadership qualities, self-motivated with a solid work ethic. - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple programs effectively.

Responsibilities

- Act as a strategic technology partner for the ARDx organization, focusing on data strategy, governance, and analytics facilitation. - Collaborate with ARDx business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to implement standard reporting practices and support advanced analytics capabilities. - Engage directly with ARDx clients to comprehend the data landscape and pinpoint opportunities to reduce data silos, promoting a transparent and results-oriented data culture. - Ensure that data and analytics practices comply with relevant statutes, regulations, internal policies, and professional standards. - Advocate for the ethical use, sharing, and consumption of data across the organization. - Promote the secure and appropriate democratization of trusted data to support strategic business objectives. - Understand the processes and technologies essential for the effective use of data and governance objectives. - Influence and partner with businesses to align their strategies with IT capabilities, maintaining a dynamic portfolio roadmap. - Translate business strategies into aligned IT strategies, governing a portfolio of programs, projects, and applications. - Oversee initiatives that span diverse, virtual teams globally, resolving issues raised in project governance committees for effective resolutions. - Proactively assess business processes, gathering and documenting requirements while collaborating with IT Architecture to identify viable solutions. - Champion change and encourage innovation, fostering an environment open to new and creative ideas. - Manage IT budgets and project capital expenditures, continuously seeking opportunities for cost savings and avoidance. - Address issues, risks, and decision-making within effective timeframes to ensure optimal outcomes. - Navigate conflicts and prioritize tasks while negotiating effectively with both business and IT stakeholders. - Build and maintain productive relationships with colleagues across the Abbott IT organization and external partners. - Stay informed on corporate IT standards, technology trends, and evolving regulations relevant to business processes and influence stakeholders accordingly.
